Answers to common questions about services, scheduling, and maintenance for sleek results.
Duration varies: Express Silkpress typically lasts up to two to four weeks depending on hair type and care. Hydra Silkpress follows a four-week regimen and maintains smoother results when scheduled appropriately. Keratin treatments can last three to five months with proper maintenance and sulfate-free products.
Yes. New clients and those with recent chemical or protective styles should consult so stylists can assess hair history, elasticity, and prior treatments. Consultations determine whether Express or Hydra Silkpress is appropriate, or if a Keratin Treatment should be recommended first for best results.
Hydra Silkpress is a four-week regimen suited for new clients or those post-braids/weaves, delivering deeper conditioning and longer-lasting smoothness. Express Silkpress offers a quicker option for past-45-day clients but may require a consultation or Hydra booking first to ensure optimal hair health.
Yes, but Hydra Silkpress is recommended after braids or weaves to ensure hair has recovered. We require sufficient time or a 45-day pass to assess scalp and hair integrity. This helps prevent unnecessary breakage and achieves a safer, smoother finish.
Use sulfate-free shampoo and lightweight conditioners, limit washing to preserve the style, and sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase. Avoid heavy products and excessive moisture; apply recommended heat protectants and book touch-ups like Express or Hydra Silkpress to keep sleek results.
Generally yes. Our stylists evaluate hair color, porosity, and prior chemical services to choose compatible keratin formulas. Some color-treated hair responds well, but we may recommend a strand test or adjust timing to avoid color fade and maintain hair health.
